Join us for our annual Long Island Lions breakfast featuring a conversation with Zibby Owens, editor of the new anthology On Being Jewish Now. This collection brings together essays from 75 writers, including Zibby, who share personal reflections on Jewish identity before and after October 7. The essays are funny, sad, hopeful, traumatic, and authentic—a must-read for everyone.
Zibby will be joined by fellow authors Brenda Janowitz and Jane Rosen, both contributors to the anthology, as they share their personal experiences and discuss how they are using their voices to speak up.
As UJA continues to respond to the ongoing needs in Israel in the aftermath of October 7 and to rising antisemitism here in New York, we know coming together has never been more important.
Space is limited. Please register by Wednesday, October 9, 2024. REGISTER HERE.
